Aqua Shop Indoor Surfing

Whoever said you can only surf at the beach clearly never set foot in the amazing glass enclosure at Aqua Shop and their FlowRider. This is our first stop on our train looking for things to do in Plano.
While FlowBoarding is not exactly the same thing as surfing the big waves in Hawaii, it does offer an incredible experience, one where you can surf or body board.
If you are wondering how this works, well think of the FlowRider as a wave simulator, a think sheet of water constantly flows over a stationary wave-like structure, this recreates the sensation of surfing a real wave.
We love this place because you can practice a water sport indoors, so you don’t run the risk of suffering a sunburn or heat stroke, one of the leading causes for visits to our ER during the spring and summer months.
Texas Sculpture Garden

The reason we absolutely love this place is not just because of its beautiful manicured gardens that provide a striking background to these amazing works of art, but mostly because the Texas Sculpture Garden features the work of artists living or working in Texas.
This kind of patronage serves to bring artists and spectators together, creating opportunities for education and inspiring all who visit the Hall Park Development. If you appreciate great art, the Texas Sculpture Garden should be placed in great things to do in Plano as it is nearby in Frisco.
iFly Indoor Skydiving

If you’ve ever dreamt of flying, then your dreams are just about to come true. Yes! It is a family-friendly activity to consider on your quest for things to do in Plano. It’s just nearby in Frisco, Texas. iFly is the most exhilarating activity any of us at Prestige ER has ever experienced, and we are used to saving lives!
Stepping into the air chamber is a little scary but once you feel yourself flying it is well worth it, the activity is open to anyone between the ages of 3 and 103; although indoor skydiving is safe for most people, we should warn you that anyone who has had, back, neck or shoulder injuries should not try it, likewise pregnant women and patients with heart conditions should avoid this activity. For everyone else, happy flying!
Hydrous Wake Parks

Love wakeboarding but don’t have access to a boat, worry not! Hydrous Wake Parks offers a unique overhead cable system that is used to pull riders over their 10-acre lake.
This wakeboarding training facility is great for those who are just learning the sport, and for those who are looking to perfect their tricks. Hydrous is one of the few cable wakeboarding facilities currently operating in the country, and we are so happy to have one in our neighboring town of Allen.
Oak Point Park & Natural Preserve
